Sur scène, le groupe égrenait les standards de Bob Seger.
Je l'ai regardée longtemps danser dans la fumée.
Ses lèvres écarlates étaient comme des phares dans la nuit, attirant les cœurs perdus vers les écueils.
Quand elle s'est accoudée près de moi au bar, j'ai dit : « Goudeuh dand-sseur ! ».

Finalement, on a dormi dans son pick-up.
Au petit matin, devant les œufs brouillés, elle m'a proposé de la suivre jusqu'à son ranch du Colorado.
Impossible, on m'attendait à Memphis, Tennessee.
On s'est donc quitté comme on s'était rencontré : par hasard.
Quand le Dodge Dakota s'est évaporé dans la poussière du lointain, je me suis rendu compte que je ne lui avais même pas demandé son nom.
Bah ! Je l'appellerai juste Miss Rock and Roll !
